Warren Township, named for General Joseph Warren.
Presented by the Warren Historical Society, learn more about General Joseph Warren on the 250th anniversary of his death.  
Joseph Warren was a Revolutionary War patriot. The son of a farmer and educated at Harvard, Dr Warren was inspired to action after the Stamp Act of 1765.  He was instrumental in raising funds and inspiring others to join. He died at the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775.
