Hear a fun story about Chief, a full-sized Appaloosa who lives at Hope's Promise Farm. Followed by a visit by a miniature therapy horse.
Hear a fun story about Chief, a full-sized Appaloosa who lives at Hope's Promise Farm. Through the book, My Friend Chief, children and adults will learn about this special horse and how he became a therapeutic riding horse. Since Chief is too large to go into libraries, another therapy horse--Noble or Alexander the Great--will visit. After hearing Chief's story, audience members get to ask questions and have the opportunity to pet and take a photo with one of the little horses. This program's content is geared to children ages 3 and up but all are welcome.
Please register every family member or friend who will attend this program.
