Children will learn about how specific foods are grown and the role they play in a healthful diet through a story, hands on activity and tasting of a snack.

Enjoy a fun-filled, educational program from Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Somerset County that teaches children about the importance of good nutrition and the role farms play in enriching our communities and the environment. Through the food focused stories and activities children are given the opportunity to explore where the food that they eat comes from.
