Actress Leanna Renee Hieber channels talented artist Clara Driscoll, designer of iconic Tiffany lamps and the manager of the Women's Glass Cutting Department of Tiffany Studios in the late 1800's.
This presentation was adapted from Clara Wolcott Driscoll’s personal letters, historical record and inspiring insights. This 'meeting with the artist' showcases the vitality, innovation and importance of women in the decorative arts movement.
Leanna Renee Hieber is a professionally trained actress, author of historical fantasy novels and a licensed ghost tour guide in NYC.
By the Light of Tiffany is part of Coffee Time Talks, an educational program series for adults to encourage lifelong learning. Programs run from 11 a.m. to noon, and attendees are encouraged to stay through 1 p.m. to socialize with fellow patrons and enjoy some refreshments.
