Kate Rizzi from Rutgers' Oral History Archives, will share excerpts from oral histories of men and women who served in conflicts abroad and on the home front during the 20th and 21st centuries.
Kate Rizzi, assistant director of the Rutgers Oral History Archives, will discuss their work documenting the experiences of American veterans and will share excerpts from oral histories of men and women who served in conflicts and on the home front during the 20th and 21st centuries, including WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, and more. Rutgers Oral History Archives assistant director Kathryn “Kate” Rizzi is an editor, writer, teacher and oral historian.
"Oral Histories of American Veterans" is part of Coffee Time Talks, an educational program series for adults to encourage lifelong learning. Programs run from 11 a.m. to noon, and attendees are encouraged to stay through 1 p.m. to socialize and enjoy light refreshments.
