Four Centuries of Story

Local residents will highlight Weston Mill's unique contribution to our community through the years.

Local enthusiasts will highlight the critical role of the mill (1) in our colonial farming community, (2) in the British raid that ended in a Patriot’s victory, and (3) as the site of an innovative turbine technology. The mill’s spectacular collapse into the Millstone River will be covered as well as the subsequent archeological study that was conducted when the mill's dam was removed. Unique artifacts and photos will be on display. In partnership with the Somerset County Historical Society.
