Storytime with the Sugar Plum Fairy

(families with children)

Discover a magical performance taking you on an adventure through the land of the sweets with a unique reading of "The Nutcracker."

One or two professional dancers will be in costume to do a meet and greet with kids and parents. The dancers will explain the rich history of ballet and the culture behind the art form, give an explanation of the use of pointe shoes and tutus, do a small performance of the Sugar Plum classical variation, have a story time of the Nutcracker ballet and give a dance class at the end.
