Explore the world of weather and the various aspects which influence the Earth's climate with David Dvorin.
In the program, we will review the fundamentals of energy, the atmosphere and how they relate to the current climate situation. The discussion will include information on why currently, we are experiencing wildfires, droughts and flooding and further, why in NJ, we are experiencing hotter summers and warmer winters. With this insight, you will be able to understand and put in perspective a wide variety of news stories, government actions and business initiatives.
David Dvorin holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a Master's in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. David is currently an appointed member of the Somerset County Energy Council whose mission is to advocate for energy efficiency and conservation, promote public understanding of opportunities and choices regarding energy issues, and advise the Commissioners on matters related to energy. He is also an active participant in the Citizen’s Climate Lobby - a non-profit, non-partisan lobbying group advocating for clean energy.
