We understand that sometimes the typical library setting can be overwhelming to families and their children with special needs. This Read to a Therapy Dog session will provide an opportunity for children of all abilities to experience the enjoyment of reading at the library. Children with sensory needs will be accommodated as much as possible, and library staff will be available to help children and their families feel welcome. Please let us know in advance how we can make your visit more comfortable.
Each child will have a 10 minute reading session. Please arrive 5 minutes early for your time slot with a book or books to read. If you are late you will lose your spot. Please call if you need to cancel.
