Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with some favorite Spanish dishes.
National Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins in the United States each year on Sept. 15, celebrates U.S. Latinos, their culture and their history. Started in 1968 by Congress as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was expanded to a month in 1988.
Chef Kir Rodriguez will demonstrate how to make tomato and watermelon gazpacho and buñuelos de vainilla
Begin your Spanish party with gazpacho de tomate and end the affair with fried buñuelos covered in powdered sugar.
Presenter: Professional pastry chef Kir Rodriguez joined the International Culinary Center in 2004, and has worked at prestigious NYC restaurants such as Orso, Union Square Cafe, Le Cirque and Cafe Boulud.
