This performance will feature the Lesser Séamus Quartet sharing a collection of traditional Irish songs before St. Patrick's Day.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
Limited space available - first come, first served. Doors will open at 6:45 pm.
Lesser Séamus was formed in 2008 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, by a group of close friends and multi-instrumentalists who love Irish music. Since then, they have been performing continuously in Central New Jersey as a three to seven-piece band. Instrumentation includes guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, tin whistle, Uilleann pipes, bass, and drums. Together they share roughly 250 years of musical experience.
Song offerings include traditional Irish folk and ballads, fiddle tunes, Irish-inspired Americana, and plenty of Celtic punk.
This Lesser Séamus Quintet performance will feature Liz Gonzalez on fiddle, Brian Szura on Uilleann pipes and whistle, Nick Conte on Mandolin and bouzouki, Jim Allen on banjo, and Michael Steinbruck on vocals and guitar.
