Hot Taters plays a mix of Dixieland, New Orleans Mardi Gras music, hot jazz, and swing.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
Limited space available - first come, first served. Doors will open at 6:45 pm.
The band was founded in 2008 as the Hot Patootoes, but changed its name to the Hot Taters in June 2009. The band has played up & down the east coast at festivals, private parties, concerts, wineries, farmer's markets, and weddings. It's a high energy group usually containing a trombone, sax, trumpet front line and also a keyboard & drums, and sometimes tuba backline, and a dynamic female vocalist.
Tentative lineup-Peter Jensen-trombone, cornet, vocals, Demetria Joyce Bailey-vocals, Pete Souders-sax, clarinet, vocals, Al Rochlin-trumpet, Wayne Palmer-keyboard, Bob Mose Marsley-drums.
