Explore the cultural tapestry of West Africa through centuries of art from within the borders of its eighteen present-day countries with Mike Norris, Ph.D.
This art program will highlight African sculpture, bead work, metal work, and ivories from local museums, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Princeton University Art Museum, and the Newark Museum.
Presenter Mike Norris has been lecturing for more than twenty years about classical and medieval art.
