A self-written obituary communicates the milestones and key details of your life in richer detail and with greater creativity than if it were written by others. Speaker: Writing coach Vanessa Young.
Celebrate your life and learn how to comb through it for significant information that captures your story. In this workshop, you will learn how to write and edit your own obituary in order to help your loved ones when the moment comes. We will also discuss how it can eventually be published in traditional and new formats (newspapers, online legacy forums, social media, and additional places of interest). This presentation will be positive and celebratory, affirming participants' achievements and individual stories.
Vanessa Young is a poet, educator and writing coach.
