Bring your Mac or Windows laptop to this 5-day tech course that starts with an introduction to Scratch and ends with students creating their own final project.
Presented by Montgomery High School’s Codeable Camps. With a step-by-step curriculum, students will acquire the skill set and knowledge to not only build masterful projects within the Scratch programming language, but also to extend these concepts into actual coding in the future. By the end of the course, students will be able to utilize their imagination and Scratch expertise to develop their very own “Final Project,” whether it is a full-fledged game or an interactive story-based animation.
Please bring your Mac or Windows laptop and download the offline editor for Scratch by clicking HERE prior to the first session. Students that register agree to attend all five sessions of the course held on August 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
