The glass-enclosed case at the Warren Twp. Library is currently featuring an exhibit of Vintage Auto & Gas Station Memorabilia owned by George Panila.
An assortment of vintage and antique automotive memorabilia is on display in the glass-enclosed case in the Community Commons area of the Warren Township Library. George Panila, the owner of this unique and interesting array of items, has been adding to his collection for over 25 years, usually by rummaging through old barns or scouring antique shows. He states that he has hundreds of items in his private collection including a 1920's battery charger, Kendall oil signs, brake signs and more!
The 28 items currently on display at the Warren Library include copies of historic Automobile Drivers Licenses and Passenger Vehicle Registrations from the 1930's as well as a service manual for a 1962 Corvair. A 'magnetic ash receiver', Wizard Tire Repair Kit and Hollander Bulb Kit circa 1950 are just a few of the unusual and fun items in this display which will be available for you to enjoy during regular library hours until March 29th, 2018.
