Buying a house can seem overwhelming. In this program, attendees will be walked thoroughly through the whole process.
Learn about:
1. Key players in the Buying Process – Buyer, Seller, Mortgage Lender, Attorney, Title Agency, Home Inspector, Home Appraiser.
2. Getting Pre-Qualified – What you need to know and why you need to be pre-qualified before anything else
3. The Cost of Home Ownership (i.e. The estimated funds, you will need to close, such as the down payment, escrow, closing fees)
4. Choosing Your Loan - Loan options that are available including fixed rates, adjustable rates, different loan terms.
5. Credit - What you need to know about credit and how it effects the loan you qualify for, and what a debt to income ratio is.
6. Down Payment -The minimum down payment required for first time homebuyers as well as those who are not first time home buyers
7. The Mortgage Process - What you need to know about the mortgage process
8. Closing - What to expect at closing.
