Mark Kilianski and Deb Shebish carry on the tradition of Irish music with vibrance and reverence. They will perform lively reels and jigs, pub songs, and ballads.
Mark Kilianski (guitar), and Deb Shebish (fiddle) carry on the tradition of Irish music with vibrance and reverence. Lively reels and jigs, boisterous pub songs, and tender ballads can be expected, as well as the stories and history that go along with them. After establishing an explosive musical connection at the Appalachian String Band Festival in West Virginia, the two now team up to bring Irish music to the people of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Berklee College of Music graduate and NJ native Mark Kilianski tours full time as a solo artist, and with Americana duo Hoot and Holler.
Deb Shebish holds a Masters Degree in Scottish Studies from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and a Bachelors of Music in Violin Performance from Indiana State University. Her masters thesis focused on how traditional fiddle is taught to youth in the Orkney Isles, Scotland.
