Penelope The Powerful Parrot is a highly interactive experience for children and adults that creatively utilizes storytelling, movement and song to deliver a message of hope and resilience. Children as young as 3 years old, and adults up to 84 have enjoyed Penelope The Powerful Parrot.
Presented by Somerset County Richard Hall Community Health & Wellness Center’s Hope & Healing program, who delivers family-centered programming to help the community mitigate the emotional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; in collaboration with the Somerset County Library System of NJ. Penelope The Powerful Parrot is one of several initiatives funded through a FEMA/SAMHSA grant.
