We will create a tin can luminary and explore a few options to reuse glass jars for candle holders.
The following is the list of materials we will be using if you would like to follow along and begin these projects with us, however, you can attend this event as a spectator. Please note that you will need enough white glue for multiple projects.
Tin Can Luminary
* One short tin can, such as a tuna fish can
* Standard clothes pins (approximately 25)
* Paint (colors of your choosing) and a paintbrush
* Hot glue gun and glue (optional)
* Battery operated tea light candle (optional)
Glass Jar Luminaries
* Multiple Glass Jars (5 jars any size(s) you'd like)
* Paint in any color(s) of your choosing and a paintbrush
* Pages of an old book
* Napkins 2-3 (color or design of your choosing)
* Tissue paper (color or design of your choosing)
* Skein(s) of yarn (1-2 colors of your choosing)
* White glue
* Container to thin glue
* Water
* Battery operated tea light candle(s) (optional)
