Note: Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, cold and thinly sliced into 10 pieces
• 1 medium banana, thinly sliced
• 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
• 1 7.5 –ounce tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Optional:

• Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans.
• Substitute other seasonal fruits for the bananas.

You will also need:

• Muffin tin (This recipe yields 10 muffins.)
• Measuring cups
• Measuring spoons
