This event will have a tree "theme" that will feature a winter tree, painted acorns, and twig luminaries.
The following is the list of materials we will be using if you would like to follow along and begin these projects with us, however, you can attend this event as a spectator. Please note that you will need enough hot glue for multiple projects.
Winter Tree
* 1 piece of card stock or lightweight cardboard shaped into a cone and trimmed or a ready made cardboard cone
* Raw pasta (We will be using small shells)
* Paint (We will be using white for a snowy tree) and a paintbrush
* Hot glue gun and glue
Painted Acorns
* Acorns, nicely shaped and dried out (Rinse with water. Dry 1 hour. Dry in over 1.5-2 hours on 200 degrees, moving around often.)
* Paint in any color(s) of your choosing and a paintbrush
* Glitter and white glue (optional)
Twig Luminaries
* Twigs (You can gather pencil sized twigs from outside or purchase pre-packaged 5-inch twigs.)
* Balloon
* Pruning shears or wire cutters (optional)
* See through cup (You can use glass or plastic but it will remain inside the project.)
* Hot glue gun and glue
* Paint and paint brush (optional)
* Glitter and white glue (optional)
* Battery operated luminary candle
