This presentation uses numerous images and a series of carefully selected case studies to explore New Jersey’s story.
The presenter will show us as historian John Cunningham did decades ago, that New Jersey is indeed a mirror for America.
In this illustrated presentation, author Richard Veit speaks about his co-authored book, "Envisioning New Jersey."
Presented by Richard Veit, Ph.D. who is Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department of History and Anthropology at Monmouth University. He is a North American historical archaeologist, whose research focuses on the Middle Atlantic Region between the late 17th and early 19th centuries. Also, Veit directs Monmouth University’s annual archaeological field school and has authored or co-authored six books.
