Celebrate Earth Day, April 22nd!
Have you ever wondered about the birds in your backyard?
This PowerPoint based lecture and discussion will help you get acquainted with many of New Jersey's common backyard birds. Join Ben Barkley, a naturalist from Somerset County Park Commission and spend some time learning the fundamentals of backyard bird watching.You will learn basic identification skills, what to feed backyard birds, as well as when and where to place feeders in your yard.
Will you need a special accommodation? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
