A tangram is a square divided into 7 specific pieces. Celebrate “The Year of the Dog”, with folklore and this ancient Chinese puzzle.
Have fun in this hands-on program as we create animal designs with tangrams. Listen to the story, “Why Dog and Cat are Enemies”, then arrange your tangrams into a unique picture. Note: Research suggests that playing with tangrams helps children gain a grasp of spatial relationships and develop positive feelings about geometry.
