SCLSNJ
Presented by Chloë Kitzinger, Assistant Professor, Department of German, Russian, & East European Languages & Literatures at Rutgers University.
Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky (11 November 1821–9 February 1881), was a Russian novelist, short story writer, essayist, journalist and philosopher.
Dostoyevsky's literary works explored human psychology in the troubled political, social, and spiritual atmospheres of nineteenth century Russia.
His books remain widely read today and are the mainstay of many college literature courses.
This program will give a general overview of Dostoevsky’s life and works.
